Comic hippo in elaborate raku firing technology
The funny patchyderm as ceramic figure is made entirely by hand in Knysna in South Africa using the elaborate raku process. Carbon is deposited in the fine hairline cracks in the ceramic and gives the statuettes their very own character. In total, the production of a raku ceramic passes through up to 15 different stations.
Depending on availability, you will receive the figure in different colors. The colors given in the product options refer to the neck of the hippo.
