  The African American flag contains red and black diagonal stripes with a gold fig tree wreath circling a blunt golden sword. Red symbolizes the blood that has been shed by the community for freedom, justice and human dignity while black represents the skin color. The sword represents pride while the gold wreath represents peace, prosperity and everlasting life.

  Our African American heritage bracelet is made with beads that are intricately hand woven to produce a design resembling the flag colors and personalization of your choice. The thread used in knitting is water resistant allowing you to wash dishes, take a shower and even go swimming with your bracelet on. Woven with strong non-elastic thread that is durable and does not break easily.

  ORIGIN : Made in Kenya by local beading artisans who use beading techniques are inspired by the Maasai tribe of East Africa.

  SIZE : The size is measured as the circumference around the inside of the bracelet. Measure the distance around your wrist to find your size. Available in up to 8 sizes for length ranging from 14 cm to 21 cm. The width of the bracelet is 1.5 cm. The bracelet is a snug fit and does NOT stretch. For a loose fit, order a size up. To measure your wrist size, use a strip of paper cut from the short side of an A4 size paper. The paper strip should be about 21.5 cm long. Tie the strip around your wrist at the bottom of your palm and mark your size. Measure against a ruler .
